The online map (available through covid19.gov.gr), was activated when the first restriction measures went into effect and is managed by the presidency of the Hellenic Republic. It includes information on infection cases per area, and the measures in effect at that area. The measures are based on a new system of four levels of intensity.

On the Cyclades islands there were 68 inspections of businesses and 18 violations confirmed. Also on Mykonos, one person was arrested for violating the measures to prevent the spread of diseases and fined 5,000 euros.

Restrictive measures to contain a resurgence of novel coronavirus infections were imposed on Lesvos island on Sunday by the Civil Protection Deputy Minister Nikos Hardalias.

In a joint press conference following the meeting, Soukry said that both sides had signed an agreement on the establishment of exclusive economic zones between Greece and Egypt and that all its provisions were compatible with international law.For his part, Dendias stressed that "after today's agreement, Turkey's illegal agreement with Tripoli has ended up where it belongs - in the trash basket."

In an interview, Dendias spoke of Monday's EU Council of Foreign Affairs, which will discuss the issue of Turkey. He said he will also raise the issue of Turkey's decision this past week to convert World Heritage listed monument Hagia Sophia to a mosque, which he said should be addressed by the EU, UNESCO and the United Nations.

Greece with 113 deaths, is in the 46th place worldwide in the number of victims from the 39th it was last week. Greece records roughly 11 deaths per one million population, which ranks it 58th worldwide and 21st in EU. The global average is 21 deaths per million, so Greece is under the average rate.

As the Health Ministry’s coronavirus spokesman, Tsiodras also said that returning to normality will take some time. Responding to a question on when would people be able to travel abroad again, he added that necessary preventive measures may still restrict travelling, even when the full ban is lifted.
